Where does the money come from?

MCCF money comes from all of us, our neighbors, our families, our friends. We receive support from service clubs, faith based organizations, local businesses and services, coastal artists, self employed folks, employees, youth, retirees and visitors who discover our wonderful community.

We receive funds when we least expect them. Contributions come from a wide number of donors.  Every dollar has a huge impact. Every donor makes a difference. Some people donate annually and some every month. And now we have a new way for folks to help out.

When you shop at Harvest Market, you can donate money at the check-out stands! Money donated at Harvest is used by the MCCF for emergency food that children need.

You can donate any amount of dollars at the Harvest registers when you shop. Just ask the checkers to ring up your donation. Your receipt will show your contribution. Please look for Harvest bags printed with art work donated by John Chamberlin. If you have a push pin, you now have a MCCF poster.
