Doing
More with Less
Right now Now we are focusing on
keeping children of all ages warm
as winter and cold nights arrive.
Too many children are sleeping in
unheated homes, trailers, cars and
trucks. Twenty dollars buys a
sleeping bag. Children will sleep
better and so will you, knowing they
are warm and cozy.
Whether
times are good or bad, babies are
still being born a plenty. We have
started a diaper locker to provide
diapers to newborns and infants and
toddlers. A dry bottom may not seem
like a lot but when you are a single
mom with a newborn infant and no
money it makes all the difference in
the world.
We are also collecting gently used
infant clothing and distributing
them through local health workers
at clinics and the obstetrics
department of the hospital. Twenty
dollars allows us to buy diapers and
launder baby clothes so they are
fresh and sweet.
Our
cupboard is bare and we really could
use your help to make life kinder
for kids living in tough situations.
One hundred percent of your donation
goes to provide resources to
community children. We are providing
toys and winter warmth items for
hundreds of kids. Twenty dollars
means holiday joy and knowing Santa
remembered you. Help one child or
more. You can mail us a check,
donate to us via PayPal or your
credit card right here on our page,
or request donation envelopes to
have on hand by emailing us at mccf@mcn.org. We
are grateful for your heartfelt
help.
