Who We Are

Dear Community,
From Rockport to Gualala (and inland to Comptche), the Mendocino Coast Children’s Fund responds 365 days a year. From diapers to diplomas, we have been saying yes to the needs and dreams of local children in need for 30 years.

MCCF is you, our neighbors and friends, banding together to make sure all coastal children and families can thrive and be healthy.

Here at home, your donation makes an important difference, one child and one kindness at a time. Since 1992, thanks to you, our community inspired non-profit has said yes to kids.  Many of our donors remember the kindness you provided when they were children.

Early investments in children are the best a community can make!

From medical mileage, homelessness prevention, and pandemic support to sports, recreation, school shoes and holiday toys, MCCF helps hundreds of children. Now we are expanding services and are running the dynamic MCCF Resource Center located at 244 N. Franklin Street in downtown Fort Bragg in the historic Family Hands building.

MCCF provides children with essentials and necessities, hopes and dreams, opportunities and activities. We respect the dignity and privacy of all children and families.

We are a trusted partner of the County, City of Fort Bragg, school districts, Red Cross, local, family, and regional foundations, and community members like you. Unlike other organizations, we are primarily funded through private donations.

Kindest regards from your MCCF board!
